Louise Glück Prize for Best Poem or Prose

The Louise Glück Prize for Best Poem or Prose is an annual writing prize hosted by Poetries in English Magazine, a semiannual digital literary journal. The 2026–27 prize is the inaugural edition. The prize is open to poetry and prose in any form or style.

Entrants may submit up to five poems or a single piece of prose of up to 10,000 words. Prose may be fiction or creative nonfiction. Previously published work is not accepted. Entries are submitted through the journal’s online submission form.

The winner receives $1,000 and publication in Poetries in English Magazine. Non-winning entries are also considered for regular publication in the journal.

The results will be announced in early 2027. The journal acquires First North American Serial Rights for published work.
