The past few years, we have hosted a writing contest that was only open to participants in the Tadpole Press Writing Retreat.
This year, since we aren't quite ready to host an in-person retreat yet, we are opening up our contest to everyone.
All writers. All genres. Write from anywhere in the world. No travel required.Theme: Abundance
What do we mean by abundance?
What we focus on, we get more of. If we focus on scarcity, we look around and see all the things that are lacking in our life. But if we focus on abundance, life becomes plentiful. We see never-ending possibilities in a complex, never-ending universe.
We aren't confined. We are limitless.
And we are fulfilled. We have all the time in the world to accomplish our goals. We prosper. We know that our energy is a resource that is easily replenished. We feel promise. We believe in the good and know that things will get better.
It's not about exploiting resources or being greedy, because both of those come from a place of scarcity. True abundance recognizes that there is enough for all of us.
Now here's the fascinating part. Your job is to show us all of that immense, wide world in only 100 words or less. Give us a glimpse of something that reveals the abundance of this big, beautiful, unexpected life that we've got. Make us "see a World in a Grain of Sand."
