Got a horror short story? Killer Shorts wants to read it.
Killer Shorts is a premier launchpad dedicated to discovering, championing, and launching the next wave of voices in horror fiction. Founded in 2019, the competition connects emerging authors directly with the industry professionals who actively publish, manage, and option dark fiction for the screen.
To give submissions the highest level of validation, work is evaluated by an elite jury that includes legendary author and producer Tananarive Due (The Twilight Zone, Horror Noire), literary manager John Zaozirny (Bellevue Productions), and genre icon Barbara Crampton.
Winners receive official publication on the Killer Shorts website to guarantee industry eyes on their work, a professional Scrivener software license, and an exclusive one-on-one career consultation with author and screenwriter Chris Hicks, who successfully adapted his own short prose into a major Hollywood film package.
Authors can submit their killer short stories to Killer Shorts today to launch their literary careers.
