The Lascaux Prize in Short Fiction is run by The Lascaux Review, an online literary journal. The contest welcomes short fiction in all genres and styles, and stories may be previously published or unpublished, with simultaneous submissions accepted.
Length should not exceed 10,000 words. All entries, win or not, are automatically considered for general publication in the journal. Judging is handled by the journal’s own editors, and writers retain full rights to their work at all times. Submissions are made online via Submittable; postal submissions are not accepted.
The winner receives $1,000 in prize money, a bronze medallion, and publication in The Lascaux Review.
