WriteFluence Short Story Contest

WriteFluence is a writing platform running its first short story contest since returning from a hiatus announced in June 2026. Entrants are asked to write a story exploring the theme “Revival” — broadly interpreted as the revival of hope, love, dreams, communities, traditions, or worlds.

Submissions must be original, unpublished, non-AI-generated work of at least 2,000 words, with no stated upper limit. The contest opened 14 July 2026 and closes 10 August 2026, with winners announced 29 September 2026. Entry is open to writers aged 18 and over, writing in English, from all countries; multiple entries are allowed provided a separate fee is paid per entry.

Entries will be evaluated by the WriteFluence team on:

• Originality and creativity
• Storytelling and narrative structure
• Character development
• Language and style
• Relevance to the theme

Rather than a cash prize, winning stories receive publication as excerpts on the WriteFluence website and full inclusion in a curated anthology published worldwide on Kindle (ebook and paperback), with full author credit.
