Event Details
The Wild Muse Nature Writing Prize invites personal stories, articles, anecdotes, essays and more that explore our relationship to the natural world, on the theme of nature’s wisdom and healing – whether you’re an experienced writer, nature lover or someone who enjoys writing about their experiences and reflections.
This prize honours the voices of those who have been touched, guided, or healed by nature. Entries might recount a healing journey in which nature played a leading role, offer insights inspired by animals or plants, or showcase the profound lessons we can learn from observing the rhythms, patterns, and interconnectedness of the natural world.
What has the natural world whispered in your ear, delivered to your heart? The Wild Muse Nature Writing Prize wants to celebrate your story.
Prizes:
- The winner will receive £750
- Second place will be awarded £300
- Third place will receive £150
Open to anyone, of any age, anywhere in the world. As long as the entry is unpublished, within the word limit (2,000) and fits the theme (nature’s wisdom & healing), anything goes.
All details and submission guidelines can be found on the Wild Muse website, a healing, artistic space – inspired by the natural world – for creative souls who want to connect to their true nature and let their creativity bloom.
