The 100 word horror contest is back! The contest is once again free to enter, and will accept submissions from September 15 through Midnight on September 30, 2025 (EST). Winning entries will be published on October 31.
Only previously unpublished work will be considered. Stories must be original.
100 word limit. The contest is limited to the first 1000 entries, so it pays to be early.
Story Street is a writers’ collective who believe in the power of story, that writing is art, and craft can be learned and improved.
Is this competition legit?YES! – Based on our research this event is legitimate and the organizer is well established. However, as with any event, please remember to do your own research before submitting your work.
