Eyelands Book Awards 2025

The Eyelands Book Awards 2025 are open for submissions. Open to writers of any nationality.

There is no restriction regarding the form or style of writing. Eligible submissions include: poetry, novellas, short story collections, novels, children’s and YA books, historical fiction/memoir, graphic novels.

Manuscripts must be written in English. The limit is 250.000 words for every category of published books. The limit for unpublished texts is 150.000 words except for poetry books, where there is a specific page limit.

The grand prize for published books is five days holiday in Athens, Greece, where he/she will have the chance to attend awards ceremony and talk about his/her work to Greek readers and meet Greek writers in a special ceremony. This is also a great opportunity to promote his/her work to many readers via social media.

Eyelands Book Awards also gives the opportunity to an unpublished writer to win a contract and see her/his book translated into Greek and published from Strange Days Books. There are also prizes for the winners of six different categories, as well as nominations of five writers per category.

Finalists for every category to be announced on November 20, 2025. Final results are to be announced on Wednesday, December 30, 2025.
