Cranked Anvil runs a quarterly flash fiction competition.

The competition is open to any theme or genre, but your story must be a maximum of 500 words (not including the title).

The next deadline is 31st August, midnight UK time.

You may enter up to two stories in each quarterly competition.

The two placed stories from each quarter will be published on our website. Future print anthologies will also be considered, published by Cranked Anvil Press, in which winning and shortlisted stories from each competition will be published.

Prizes:
