The New Writers Poetry Competition

The New Writers Poetry Competition is open to poets from anywhere in the world. Entries may be poems on any theme or subject up to a maximum of 42 lines (excluding the title).

Prizes: 1st: £1,200; 2nd: £300; 3rd: £150; 4th to 6th: £50 each

The six winning entries will be published on the NewWriters.org.uk website and in the next New Writers Anthology

10% of the proceeds of the competition will be split between two UK-registered charities, First Story and The Funzi and Bodo Trust.

Head Judge: Katrina Moinet (Prize-winning writer of poetry and prose).
