The Letter Review Prize for Nonfiction

The Letter Review Prize for Nonfiction is offering $1000 USD total Prize pool in a competition for nonfiction up to 5000 words in length.

Your entry must be entirely original, unpublished, and free from any claims by other parties. Entries may previously have appeared on your personal media (blog / social media etc).

The prize is open to anyone, from anywhere in the world. There are no theme or genre restrictions: all entries welcome.

Prizes

• The top 2-4 winning entries of the Prize for Nonfiction are declared the Winners, and share equally in the prize pool of $1000 USD.
• Winning entries are published by The Letter Review online, and in the Winners Anthology, with an attractive, bespoke, newly commissioned artwork.
• To recognize the abilities of the writers who do not place as a Winner, up to 20 entries are Shortlisted.
• Winners are invited to participate in an interview series (Writers’ Insight), further raising their professional profile.
• Winners may request a professional recommendation / endorsement of their work in the form of a letter from Judges which they may submit to agents, publishers etc.
• All entries are considered for publication.
