St. Andrew’s first poetry contest was held in 2021 as a response to the Coronavirus epidemic as a way to engage the public in conversation about its impact by posing the question, “Where do you see God working in the pandemic?”
The competition is organized by St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, in State College, Pennsylvania. As a church-sponsored contest, the organizer is seeking submissions that engage with God or spirituality, however the writer defines them.
Poems must be the original, unpublished work of the entrant and written in English. All forms and styles are welcome.
There is no entry fee.
