Southlands Arts Creative Writing Competition 2025

The Southlands Writing Competition 2025 is open for entries. There are two categories: Fiction/Short Story and Life Writing. You may submit an entry to both the Fiction/Short Story and Life Writing category.

The theme for the Fiction/Short Story category is the weather. It’s up to you how you include the weather but some kind of weather must be included.

Entries for the Life Writing category should be about the writer’s own life.

Submissions are accepted only from writers resident in the UK. You can submit in hard copy and by email. 

Is this competition legit?YES! – Based on our research this event is legitimate and the organizer is well established. However, as with any event, please remember to do your own research before submitting your work.
