Event Details
Bridge House are seeking stories between 1000 and 5000 words on the subject of ‘Room at the Inn?’ for their annual anthology. This could be a retelling of the nativity story, an alternative telling maybe from the point of view of someone who worked at the inn? There is also scope for so much more. Think of the current migration problem. Think of those living on the streets. What is the inn exactly? How can we make room for everyone? Is this really a theme about inclusion?
New writers, established writers and writers included in other anthologies are all equally welcome. The anthology is due to be released on 15 November 2026.
Writers included in the publication will receive a free e-book of the anthology. Writers are also paid a profit share, pro rata, of 50% of net sales on the first 200 books and thereafter of 75%.
Is this competition legit?YES! – Based on our research this event is legitimate and the organizer is well established. However, as with any event, please remember to do your own research before submitting your work.
