Do you have a story to tell? Enter the Octo Books Writing Competition and share your creativity with the world! This free, child-friendly writing contest is open to all ages and welcomes every genre — from fantasy to funny, heartfelt to heroic. Whether you’re a seasoned storyteller or writing for the very first time, this is your chance to shine, win fun prizes, and even get published!
Theme: This year’s theme is… Football! Let your creativity run wild while keeping it child-friendly—no violence, swearing, or scary content.
Who Can Enter? Everyone! Kids, teens, and adults are all welcome to join. All genres and story types are accepted—as long as they’re suitable for young readers.
Prizes:
- 1st Place: Published by Octo Books, featured on our homepage and social media, custom certificate, and surprise gift!
- 2nd & 3rd Place: Digital publication, certificate, and platform recognition.
- Honourable Mentions: A few standout entries will also be showcased.
