National Poetry Competition

The National Poetry Competition is run by The Poetry Society since 1978, is one of the world’s most prestigious prizes for a single unpublished poem.

The competition is open to anyone aged 18 or over at the time of entering. International entries are welcome.

This year’s judging panel includes Denise Saul, Ian Duhig and Susannah Dickey. Open to all poets worldwide aged 18 .

Prizes: £5,000, £3,000, £2,000, commendations £500.
