The Memoir in Verse Award is run by Kinsman Avenue Publishing / Kinsman Quarterly.
The organizer is looking for full-length poetry chapbooks (50-150 pages) celebrating a BIPOC or underrepresented poet. It seeks a thematic collection that captures a personal journey or season of life.
Eligibility:
- individuals 18+ years old
- individuals of a BIPOC or underrepresented community (preferred)
- Previously published works are ineligible.
Poets of selected collections receive publication and a $1,500 licensing award.
