London Independent Story Prize (LISP) is a Community Interest Company that prioritises the interests of writers and filmmakers, founded by storytellers for storytellers. LISP aims to nurture courageous voices and create sustainable networking opportunities for writers and filmmakers.
The submission period for LISP 2026 is open, featuring a new schedule and new prizes.
Entrants must be 18 years or over. Entries must have been unpublished in print or online, or not been broadcast.
Submit flash fiction up to 300 words, short stories up to 3000 words, and poetry up to 4o lines.
The winning story receives £100, and winning stories are published in the LISP Anthology. The prize also includes being an interview and promotion on social media.
