The Ironclad Short Story Competition is open to both published and unpublished writers from anywhere in the world.
The organizer is accepting any length of story up to 6,000 words. The story must respond in any way to the prompt RESERVED.
All genres of prose are accepted. Stories must be written in English.
Prize winning and shortlisted writers will be published in the April 2026 anthology.
Prizes:
- First Place writer will be offered a prize of £100 and publication
- Second Place writer will be offered a prize of £50 and publication
- Third Placed writer will be offered prizes of £25 and publication
