The competition is organized by the Scottish Arts Club based in Edinburgh, Scotland. The competition is open to writers worldwide, who are over 16 years.
Entries can be on any theme or subject but must be original and written in English. They must also be for adult readers.
Maximum length is 250 words, title excluded.
Entries must not have been previously published in print or online, been broadcast or won a prize.
Prizes
- First prize: £2,000
- Second prize: £500
- Third prize: £250
The top twenty stories will be published in the anthology.
