Aesthetica Creative Writing Award

The Aesthetica Creative Writing Award celebrates outstanding writers. The Creative Writing Award is open to Poetry and Short Fiction submissions on any theme, however, we the organizer is particularly interested in works that reflect upon our ever changing world.

The prize attracts thousands of entries each year from across the world and is an outstanding resource to discover the best new voices in creative writing. The judging panel includes leading figures from the publishing world, and by entering, you can showcase to key industry figures and organisations including The Poetry Society, Granta, VINTAGE and more. Aesthetica is part of the UNESCO City of Media Arts network.

The judging panel is made up if editors and publishers from a wide range of organisations and publications and previous winners have become winners or made the shortlist of some of the biggest awards around including the TS Eliot Prize, the National Poetry Competition and the Costa Book Award.

Works published or entered elsewhere are accepted.

Prize: £5,000 prize money, publication in the Aesthetica Creative Writing Annual, and a big package of many other great benefits!
