Voice.club Monthly Flash Fiction Contest

Express yourself in a supportive international community, as you develop your writing skills. Voice.club invites you to write a story of 350 words or less, based on our current prompt. This monthly contests are open to writers aged 13 and older from any country, but each story must be written in English.

The contest has the following requirements:

• Fiction stories only – We do not accept non-fiction, autobiographical essays, poems or other genre.
• Each story must be 350 words or less
• There is an entry limit of one story per person for each contest
• No more than 40 stories will be shortlisted

All stories which are creative and error-free will be shortlisted. All stories will receive feedback and helpful comments from the writing community. All stories have a chance to win first prize.

In honor of Halloween, theOctober prompt is “Scary”. Ghosts, ghouls, the macabre or mysterious, the supernatural or spooky – all are welcome! Your story can be frightening, funny, nostalgic, whimsical – whatever aspect of this popular holiday appeals to you.
