Black Heart Magazine is an independent literary magazine, now publishing annually. Since 2004, we have been publishing art with heart. We publish the best in short-form modern literature, across all genres. Currently we publish short fiction only (no poetry, no essays). You’ll find new writing by both up-and-coming and established authors here, and we nominate pieces annually for Best of the Net as well as the Pushcart Prize.
