The Weatherglass Novella Prize 2025 invites submissions of novellas between 20k-40k words. The contest emphasizes the beauty of the novella form and aims to promote exquisite storytelling.

The winner(s) will be Chosen By Ali Smith. The winning novella(s) will be published by Weatherglass Books in 2025/26.

Shortlist will be announced Summer 2025; winner(s) 3 months later. An advance of £500 will be paid to the winning author(s) and the winning entry(ies) will be published within 12 months of announcement.
