The Scratch A4 competition is opening for submissions. We want to read your very short work – stories that fit on only one piece of A4. Submit your sub-1000 word story before midnight on 30th April 2023.
If you are are among our six shortlisted writers, you will get the chance to read your story aloud in the Blue Posts pub, Soho on 10th June, 2023.
The winning writer will be awarded editorial feedback and advice on their next steps by Scratch Books EIC, Tom Conaghan.
Entry to the Scratch A4 competition is only £4.
All submissions must be previously unpublished.
Entrants must be available to read their story in London on the evening of 10th June.
