Scottish Arts Club Short Story Competition

The Scottish Arts Trust is delighted to announce the 2023 Scottish Arts Club Short Story Competition with first prize £3,000 and chief judge Ian Rankin. Stories may be on any topic up to 2,000 words.

The competition is organized by the Scottish Arts Club located in Edinburgh, Scotland. The competition is open to all writers worldwide, published and unpublished, who are over 16 years of age.

All entries must be in English.

Stories entered for the competition should not have been previously published in any format, online or print, self-published or paid.

Stories by the finalists will be included in the annual anthology.
