The competition is organized by The Pinch, a literary journal published at the University of Memphis. The competition is open to everyone except students and faculty at the University of Memphis, United States.
The 2023 Pinch Literary Awards accepts poetry (entries must range from 1-3 poems) and fiction (manuscripts can be a maximum of 5000 words).
The 2023 Page Prize accepts non-fiction. Non-fiction submissions should not exceed 1,000 words.
Only unpublished work will be considered.
