New2theScene is a platform for the discovery of new or not yet familiar literary talent. They sell the books of authors who aren’t bestsellers (yet), promoting them through their podcast, articles, blogs, social media and so on. Their Novel Competition for unpublished writers is open to entries from 1st January to 6th April 2025.
The winner will gain a professional line edit on the first 3000 words of their submission; a developmental workshop to structure their novel; a podcast interview, discussing their story, journey and ambitions; the first 3,000 words will also be published in an anthology. On top of that, the winner’s entry will be submitted to a literary professional, bypassing the slush pile and an ‘Origins’ blog will be written about the winner, introducing them to an audience. All that adds up to a fantastic opportunity for a budding novelist.
