The Hysteria Writing Competition took a break in 2024 and is now back with Hysteria 11. The purpose of the competition is to showcase entries from as wide a range of authors as possible. The competition accepts entries in any genre except erotica or horror.
There is no theme for this competition and each category winner will receive £75 and a publishing contract with Crystal Clear Books. All shortlisted entries will be included in the anthology, Hysteria 11, due out in November 2025.
Categories are:
- Short story – 1,000 words
- Flash fiction – 250 words
- Poetry – 16 lines maximum
