Event Details

The Henri-Robert Society has returned for its 3rd year of the European Law Essay Competition. 2021 entries are now open to all high school students aged 15-18, studying in Europe (including Russia). Entries will be judged by a panel of legal experts on research, knowledge, writing style and essay structure. The questions this year are:

  • What are the limitations of the European Court of Human Rights in protecting the rights of individuals?


  • Why is European Union (EU) law important for its membership?

In the first round of judging, 12 applicants will be shortlisted; all of whom will be notified via email by 1st March 2022. In the second round of judging, 1 winner and 3 runner ups will be selected by 9th March 2022. Win cash prizes, gift cards and certificates!
