Codhill Press Pauline Uchmanowicz Poetry Award

Event Details

Codhill Press was founded in 1998 by David Appelbaum, then editor of Parabola Magazine. Its voice was conceived as lying at the intersection of spiritual, literary, and poetic thought. Its function was to provide texts for readers on a search for meaning and transcendent value.

The competition is open to any poet who writes in English. Previously published poems with proper acknowledgment are acceptable. Translations and previously self-published books are not eligible.

Manuscripts are judged anonymously and distributed by SUNY Press. Codhill Press will consider all finalists for publication.

Simultaneous submissions to other publishers are permitted, but Codhill Press must be notified immediately if the manuscript is accepted elsewhere.
