I am former journalist and magazine editor taking some time out from work to pursue some personal projects, including creative writing. I got short-listed in two othercompetitions last year, the Cinnamon Press and National Association of Writers’ Groups short story competitions, and also won a ‘Scenes of the Apocalypse’ competition, and here’s a link to the story on the project website:
Fear of Falling is probably my favourite story, written with great intensity during a stormy evening in early October when there was lots of stuff happening in my life, and I am delighted that it merits a mention in the Almond Press short story awards. I’m a member of the Original Writers’ Group, based in Battersea, south London, a great bunch of people who inspired me to write and write, even if they didn’t mean to. My short stories are mainly about love, in all its craziness and madness, and I’m planning to publish a collection of my favourite pieces early next year.
